The Sisterhood–in conjunction with Atlantic General Hospital--sponsors the Annual Toni Jaffee Health Fair.
Professionals from the health community will be on tap to discuss their services. If you’re tense, come and get your blood pressure checked. Want a brighter smile? Talk to a dentist. Concerned about your heart or have a hearing problem? A heart specialist or a hearing specialist will be available to answer your questions. If your back hurts, a chiropractor may explain how his/her service might make you feel better. Many of your health questions should be answered. There will also be many health vendors, representatives from nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, to give you valuable information. Pick up brochures and favors and meet the many Temple and hospital volunteers who will make this event a success.
The Health Fair has been named in memory of past chair Toni Jaffee, who passed away from cancer in November 2008.
