Simchat Torah is a joyous festival, in which we affirm our view of the Torah as a tree of life and demonstrate a living example of never-ending, lifelong study. Torah scrolls are taken from the ark and carried or danced around the synagogue seven times. During the Torah service, the concluding section of Deuteronomy is read, and immediately following, the opening section of Genesis, or B'reishit as it is called in Hebrew, is read. |

 TBY's Hannukah Pot-Luck Dinner. Sisterhood goes all-out to make this annual event a delicious and fun event. Everyone brings either a main dish, side dish or salad. Latkes and dessert are provided. This is a must for the entire family. Enjoy the food, music and fellowship. |

| This year's Purim Carnival will be a joint venture from the youth group and the men's club. The entire congregation is invited for games of skill and chance,a costume contest, and lots of hamantaschen. |
