Hal Glick Distinguished Service Award
Husband, father, Pop Pop, humanitarian and entrepreneur, Hal Glick spent most of his life on Delmarva serving its needs with financial support and many generous hours of community service. Giving service and support to those in need was always a way of life for Hal, and many came to count on Hal over the years when in need of help.
As a result of a lifetime of giving, Hal was honored in 2010 with the first annual Hal Glick Distinguished Service Award. Due to the outpouring of affection and support at the inaugural event, it was decided by the Gala committee to permanently name the award in Hal’s honor, for those who lived similar lives of giving and providing to those less fortunate.
We will always thank Hal for contributing greatly to our various coastal communities, and for providing the model of philanthropy and community service which gave rise to this annual award now given in his honor. Sadly, Hal lost his life to cancer in 2015. Christine and her family continue supporting his legacy...giving generously to our local community.
